Sunbeam 6198 Review

I purchased the Sunbeam 6198 Toaster Oven a couple of years ago when I was remodeling the basement and needed something to supplement my microwave. This was a great choice and even though at the time it was intended to be a temporary appliance, I have continued to use it because it works well. For the price (under $30) I was amazed at the versatility.  I had never owned a toaster oven before but have appreciated this one for several reasons. First, of course, is the price. Next is the compact design. It doesn't take up much more space on the counter than a 4-slice toaster but is big enough for most everything. Third is that it is completely user-friendly. It is simple to operate and is a quick and convenient way to reheat, toast, broil or bake. On top of all of that - it saves energy since I don't have to use the oven. The bonus is that I don't have to heat up the kitchen while making dinner during hot weather!
