I've owned 3 different bread makers over the years. This one is by far my favorite. The loaf is more like the shape of a traditional loaf so the slices look "normal" to my family. I love the window that enables you to see the dough as it mixes and bakes. There is a delay option and tons of different settings. You can choice from a 2 lb or 1 1/2 lb loaf, crust color (light, med or dark), dough, white, wheat, sweat bread setting. And best of all there is an option for quick bread that takes just over one hour from start to finish on a small loaf. On other bread makers, I had trouble getting the loaf out after it was cooked. With this bread maker, the loaves slide right out, with just a shake of the pan.
Now for the cons. This bread maker is huge! You'll need plenty of room on your counter to use it. It also needs a solid surface to sit on (don't try a card table like I did once), or the whole table will shake while the dough mixes and kneads. But the most aggrevation I've had with the pan is getting the darn paddle (or blade) off so I can wash it if I bake the bread in the pan as I would normally do. This I have found can be lessoned with a spray of pam on the little knob that the paddle slides onto.
