Sunbeam 1350 Watts Toast-R-Oven TRO700 Series Review

My toaster oven never toasted evenly, I feel they purposely make products now so they last no longer than a year or so, so you have to keep buying them and replacing them. I am a single mom who is on disability with a 12 year old son and doesn't receive any child support. His father helps out when he can but his situation is grim as well. We are probably just norma americans. Products donot seem to last well at all. When I had to move and bought a vaccuum. I had to take it back to Walmart and return it three times trying tree different brands upgrading each time as the new carpet fuss would clog it up and the vacuum store wanted 25 dollars to unclog it. I would call the numbers provided  and each time  I would follow all instructions given. Finally I ended Up with a Dirt Devil that so far has lasted for almost a year. It seems you inticed to spend hundreds of dollars to buy appliances but when you don't have the money , you just want it to work. I then bought a DVD player at Walmart it was there brand. I had to return it three times as it kept saying, after watching a few movies, that the disc couldn't be read. I felt like this was enticing me to buy one with options I didnt need. Finally I returned it and got one that so far for two years has lasted. But I always keep my boxes and receipts.  I only have one child and one small dog that doesnt shed. So we really are not hard on products. I have the original radio alarm clock that I bought when I was 17, I am now 47. It has lasted 30 years. I bet if I bought one now there is no way it would last that long. My mom had a refrigerator that lasted 40 years, However mine which was the same brand Fridgeidare only lasted 12. I find it hard to believe that with all the technology we have the products we make are lasting a shorter amount of time then the last decade. I think it is just a way to make the consumer buy a fridge more than once or twice in their lifetime. So I just want to toaster oven I dont have to replace every year and that toasts evenly and products that work the first time not the third or fourth or have warnings on the box, not good for new carpet , or toaster oven not good for daily use.  I used my toaster oven for everything since my son is not here alot. I warm things up in it, make food, but mostly toast and I can't afford to buy another one right now and I an really missing it. Even this laptop I am typing on which is an Acer is junk. Seven hundred dollars and the cursor jumps, it logs itself off for no reason or rhyme and now the button that opens and shuts it has broken and we have to use a barrett or nail clipper to open it. The laptop is only two years old. We had a Toshiba before that for five years that suddenly got so hot at the bottom you couldt use it on your lap. So Buyer Beware!
