I truly love this monitor while it was working!! I could view my son while he was sleeping and would here any little peep that he made. I could use the intercom to let him know when I was coming so that he didn't get frightened. I could clip the monitor right on to me and go and do my gardening outside and didn't have to worry! I always heard about interference with the monitor but I never had any issues with that. The problem came when it just completely stopped working after about 20 months. I was so very disappointed to find out that I couldn't just buy a new hand held monitor. You can purchase extra cameras but not the monitor. It makes no sense. I think they do this so you have to go and buy the product brand new again!!

When I was pregnant with my son we knew we wanted a monitor with video and night vision. We look at several different brands and decided on summer's infant sleek and secure monitor. We certainly have not been dissapointed. It is a wonderful monitor and has incredible night vision. My son had severe acid reflux so it was very important that we could always see him and having this monitor made it very easy for us! Their customer service is also wonderful! After 4 months my monitor wouldn't hold a charge so they sent me a brand new one with a packing slip to send them mine. I didn't have to go without a monitor which was something that we couldn't do with my sons reflux. They even started our one year warranty over from the date the new one arrived which I thought was wonderful!  They were very helpful and now a days it seems rare for companies to actually go out of their way to help the consumer! I love summers infant!

Great volume controls and clear picture in both day and night.  Other models scan, but this one does not.  Just need to be sure you place it in an area that you can see the entire crib in case your baby moves around.  Don't know how I ever lived without it!

This monitor is a must have!  When I was pregnant with my son, my husband and I could not understand why anyone would need a video monitor.  We figured that the audio monitor would be fine.  Everything changed once we became nervous first time parents.  Our son slept in the co-sleeper next to our bed for 4 months so I was used to being able to wake up and peek at him throughout the night.   When we moved him into his room I would wake up in the middle of the night and worry about him so I would get out of bed and tip toe into his nursery.   He usually woke up and I would then have to put him back to sleep.  This went on for a few nights and then we went out and bought this monitor.  The picture quality is amazing.  If I look closely I can see him breathing.  It is also very compact and easy to carry around the house with me as I clean up.  It has a clip so it can clip right onto my pants.  I highly recommend this monitor!
