We purchased this Summer Day/Night video monitor to use in our home when the grandchildren were visiting since most bedrooms were on the second floor.  It is fantastic and saves many trips up and down the stairs.  Everyone rests easier being able to see if the child is actually awake or just making noise in their sleep. I think the children actually sleep longer because we are not constantly opening the door to see if they are awake. Interference is minimal and much less of a problem on this little monitor than it is on the commerical monitor that my husband uses to monitor his business. I like many others rarely have a color picture but the clarity of the picture is great. The night time pictures are better than what I can see when I enter the room (Old eyes take to long to adjust). I just wish that I would have had the availability of a product like this with my own children. Now, I am deciding which model to give my daughter to use in her home to monitor my newest grandchild that is one the way. I do know that it will definitely be one of the Summer Video monitor models.
