This monitor is a life saver!  Many people will tell you that it is a waste of money to buy a monitor with a video feature but consider that you can quickly peek at baby to see if she is safe without going into the room.  It has a great power save feature and it automatically recharges itself  when you plug it in. You can control the volume and brightness level and it has 2 channels so you can avoid static.  It does still sometimes have static and you need to reposition it but it is a quick fix.  I do wish it came with two monitors but if I really wanted an extra one I could pay for it but after a year and a half I have found one is really all I need (I just want more).
