As a first time mom, I wanted to make sure we had every safety feature possible.  Everyone I talked to thought the video monitor was unnecessary.  "Isn't the sound monitor enough?"  I say, heck no, and now, so does my husband and my mom!

The Summer Infant Video Monitor is a great! It comes with a large LED screen you can place on any table or shelf.  An additional feature is the handheld monitor with a video screen as well.  Both screens come with sound as well!

The picture is clear and sharp.  The camera swivels on it's base so it's easy to position to get every angle or close up views...

The Summer Infint Video monitor is a must have.  It is more expensive than regular audio monitors but the price is well worth it.  It will last for all of your kids and give you peace of mind knowing you can see what is happening with your baby in the crib and not just hear some noises.  It helps you make an informed decision about whether your child needs your attention or is simply making noise while he/she is going to sleep.  It takes the guess work out of deciding whether or not to check on your baby.  Sound advice says that you shouldn't respond to every little noise your child makes...
