Wow, me and my husband LOVE this product! We love having a video monitor and not just one with sound only. Now we can see if the little cry she made was just in her sleep or "I'm awake!" We don't have to go rush to her side every time we hear a noise or a rustling  because we can see exactly what's going on. The night vision works incredibly well, very clear and bright. The only real negative for us is that the mount option for the camera requires screws if you can't set it on a flat surface. This camera is by far one of the best on the market. I searched and researched many monitors before buying this one. My daughter rarely sleeps in her crib and I love how movable the camera is. I just move the camera to which ever room or place she has decided to fall asleep in. I love having the handheld receiver so I can go about daily chores with out needing to sit by the monitor screen. The visuals are great during the day and night modes. I have noticed however that sometimes there are slight glitches on the screen. This monitor is wonderful! I'm not sure what I would do without it - I'm pretty sure my child would never sleep because I would be peeking in on him every second and checking up on every sound. With this monitor, you know exactly what's going on at all times. You are better able to let your child "cry it out" if need be, because you know for sure that they are safe. I bought this monitor after having my second baby and wished I had spent the money and bought one when I had my first baby! It is wonderful to be able to see you baby in their crib and not have to open the door to peek and risk wakeing baby up. The picture is great in day and night mode. The volume can be turned up really loud if you are a heavy sleeper and it has a battery saving mode where the screen goes black to reserve power if you have in unplugged from the outlet. I love it!!! My husband had to have this montior for my son to sleep in his crib instead of the cradle next to me. I really like the picture quality-the best I have seen. You can see the child breathe! The sensitivity of the audio is unbelievable, you can hear everything. I can hear what my husband is watching on tv on the otherside of the house when it is on. This monitor is great!  My daughter is 18 months old and the monitor (which we've had since she was born) is going strong.  The video gives me such peace of mind.  Also, having the video keeps me from disturbing her.  There are times where she makes sounds that would cause me to go check on her if I didn't have the video to see that she is rolling over and going back to sleep on her own.  We love this monitor so much that we are about to buy a second one for our baby that is due in April.  The sound detector is super sensitve and when your little one's room is… read full review »

We actually bought this for our newborn but ended up using it in our toddlers room in the mean time. I LOVE it! You can see everything clearly, day and night. The sound is awesome, the only time I turn it all the way up is when I am in the shower. I love that I know what my child is doing when I hear all those thuds upstairs when she is supposed to be napping in her bed! I absolutly love the color video monitor. I never worry about my daughter I can see her and hear her no matter if its day or night. I dont have to worry about checking on her every five minutes worried that she might pull the blanket over her face. She would do that a lot. I was just always so worried about her and me not being able to see or hear her. Before we had it I would have to leave the door shut because of our cat and it worried me because I couldnt hear her. A sleep deprived mother of 4 week old twins. I am beyond grateful that I traded in the monitor I received at the baby shower for this video monitor system. The ability to peek in without having to drop everything every time you hear the kids stirring is worth ever penny spent! The added ability of using a 2nd video camera with the same viewing console is also a great feature for my situation as well. This was the best gift I received at my baby shower.  I must admit it is easy to become obsessive watching your little one sleep.  But it gives new moms peace of mind being able to "check in" on your baby while not risking waking them up.  The monitor works great in daylight and at night.  Though it is costly, I would spend the money in a minute if I were to do it all over again. … read full review »
