Summer Infant Day & Night Handheld Color Video Monitor 1.8" Screen Review

I was given the Summer Infant Day and Night handheld color video monitor as a shower gift and I am so glad that I received this.  I am a first time Mom, so with that comes the nervousness about your child so being able to see my son while he was in his crib is fantastic.  I've delt with other monitors that aren't video and you just never know what the noise is that you hear on the monitor.  If you hear something on the Summer Infant monitor, you can just look at the screen and see what your little one is doing.  The fact that it is made for both day and night is fantastic because it's nice to roll over and see what your child is up to in the middle of the night!  The only bad thing I will say about this, is that when it is on the lights are pretty bright, so if you are a person who likes sleeping in complete darkness, it will take a little getting used to.  While this is one of the more expensive monitors, I would totally recommend it to not only first time parents, but any parents who would like to be able to look at their sleeping baby without actually disturbing them!
