Now depending on your sense of smell you may or may not enjoy this powerful little tablet that shares your shower with you. Last year my wife got pretty stuffed up with a bad cold just after Thanksgiving. Nothing seemed to give her much relief and it made me feel bad because she was so sick. I really enjoy the wonderful menthol fragerance. it is so cool and refreshing. Just inhaling the menthol scent gives you an invigorating feeling. This product is great, but intense. I like it because the shower is comforting to me when I am ill and to have something like this, increases the benefit twofold. — It immediately loosens congestion so you are coughing up a storm, and it seems like your symptoms have increased. But once the tablet is finished and you come out of the shower, you feel so much better. — The only disappointment is the tablet doesn't steam if it is not directly under the shower, and then it doesn't last too long and dissipates quickly. I love Sudacare Shower Soothers! Our house is always stocked with a box of them just in case someone gets a cold, an allergy problem, congestion, or cough. As a kid, my parents would turn on the shower and steam up the bathroom. Then we would sit in the room and soak up the steam, hoping it would open up clogged noses and constricting lungs. — — With Shower Soothers, one little disc in the shower and instantly you can feel relief! I tried these when I became sick a week after giving birth to my son. Since I was breastfeeding I couldn't take much of anything to relieve my congestion. So I bought these! What a relief. They really did help relieve my congestion and discomfort without pumping me and my baby full of medication. — Only thing you need to watch out for is don't touch the tablet while its dissolving. I use these in the shower when I feel a little under the weather - they really open up your airways and give you that extra little motivation to get dressed instead of going back to bed. They have a lavender scent also - it's milder, possibly better for children. They do get warm when wet, however I used them for two cold seasons before someone else told me to touch it to find out... there's no reason to touch it once you drop it on the floor, so I can't really consider that a drawback. Shower soohters are a great product if you are fighting a cold or are just stuffed up. It open syour sinuses up and even makes an achy body feel better. There is only a couple of down sides to this product, it is not medicated so if you are severely sick it only provides limited relief. The other thing is that it heats up as it gets wet, so if you step on it, it hurts. I really like this product. It really worked to clear my congestion and when I got out of the shower I really felt good. I was a little uneasy over the fact that you can't touch this product. Left in the drain it did not pose a threat. I would definately but this product again. Although by the time your ready to get out of the shower you still have quite a bit left. I was not impressed with this product. I expected to see something happen when the water hit the bar. Instead I just watched the bar dissolve down the drain. I felt like my money was being washed down the drain for nothing. I had really high hopes that this product would offer some relief for my sinus infection. They only work with a ver hot shower but they are great to use if you are very stopped up. These work better then putting vicks up your nose which makes nose sore.
