SudaCare Shower Soothers —

Now depending on your sense of smell you may or may not enjoy this powerful little tablet that shares your shower with you. Last year my wife got pretty stuffed up with a bad cold just after Thanksgiving. Nothing seemed to give her much relief and it made me feel bad because she was so sick. So off I went to the store in search of something, anything to help her feel better.

SudaCare Shower Soothers

I grabbed a few things in my quest to make my wife more comfortable and SudaCare Shower Soothers was one of them. I had 2 choices one being the eucalyptus scented one and the other the Vanilla Mint, I grabbed both. I got home and started the shower for her and told her to get in and then I opened the Eucalyptus one and placed in on the floor of the shower. Our shower is about 3'x3' with a glass door and 3 solid walls so it is very enclosed.

It took only about a minute before she told me she could smell it, wow it was starting to work. Within 2 minutes she said her eyes were burning, I told her to close her eyes and just breathe through her nose as much as she could. To tell the truth my eyes were burning quite a bit as well and I wasn't in there! After 5 minutes it had dissolved to almost nothing but the smell was still there and pretty strong.

A combination of the hot steaming water and the SudaCare Shower Soother did the trick and my Sweety was now breathing much better. Now keep this in mind---My wife hates the smell of Vick's and this was a good substitute for it as they smell very much the same. Although not her favorite scent in the world it did help with her stuffy head and that was the point of my getting it.

The bathroom and our bedroom smelled of this tablet for about an hour after it I placed it in the shower. I myself like the smell so it didn't bother me at all, but she hated it and got the heck out of there quick.

Ingredients

Magnesium Chloride, Citric Acid, Sodium Carbonate, Calcium Phosphate Dibasic, Fragrance, Maltodextrin, Polyethylene Glycol 8000, Topical Starch, Calcium Silicate, Silicon Dioxide, FD&C Blue 1 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Yellow 5 Aluminum Lake

Vapors released are Eucalyptus, Menthol and Camphor.

Warning

The reaction of this tablet and water is a chemical one and it will get very hot so use care not to touch it once you place it in the shower and water contacts it. This reaction is what causes it to release the vapors from it. It is also an eye irritant so be forewarned!

Bottom Line

Although a strong scent for some people others will enjoy the rich aroma that comes from this shower tablet. It does work for clearing the sinuses as my wife found out. In a small enclosed shower the vapors will irritate the eyes though so just be aware of that. With these SudaCare Shower Soothers and a hot steaming shower your sinuses will thank you for your efforts.

I forgot about these. They do work like a charm. I don't recall eye issues, but my eyes could have been shut.
