Jared made eating at Subway cool. It sounds easy enough, eat at Subway and lose weight. There you have it: The Subway Diet. No cooking, no guessing what to eat next, no measuring out foods, no counting calories, just get in line and order your next sub.

Following the Subway Diet just got easier with their new fresh fit sides, including raisins and apples.

The problem with the Subway Diet is that while it may go well for a while and their food tastes good, it is not a long term program. It is too limited to follow for the rest of your life. Plus, just because it's on the menu doesn't mean it's healthy. Subways pizza is not the best choice. Neither is a meatball sub, subs loaded in cheese or dressings, or cookies. Eating veggie subs day after will certainly get old.

Using Subway fresh fit meals as part of a healthy diet is a good idea though. Subway offers on-the-go options for people watching their fat intake.

This is what I always thought - can you imagine having to go to subway EVERY DAY? How annoying.

I adore the spicy Italian sub which isn't low fat. Sigh. It certainly is yummy though.
