Subaru Forester - 2004 —
The Forester XT 2004 has to be one of the best vehicles out there for an import tuner that has grown up and now has a small family. In 2004 the XT is equipped with the 2.5 boxer turbo engine out of the STI. Turbo is a little smaller and so is horse power but after the warranty is over you can easily take care of that for around $1000.As a family vehicle it is just great plenty of room for 4 adults,I'm 6'3 and 280lbs and have plenty of space in the drivers seat.The manual transmission is smooth to operate HP and Torque are great from the factory. You will only need to mod if you have the same problem I have.
All around the Forester XT is just a great vehicle, all wheel drive turbo charged that can go almost anywhere on or off road.The gas mileage is around 17city and 23hwy thats my personal average based on my driving habits.
Great for the guy who wants a STI but needs more utility,most of the STI performance parts bolt on with no problem.
