Works best with a bit of regular gel too

It seems that I am forever on the hunt for the perfect styling product for my curly hair. I picked up a tube of Suave's Weather Protection Anti-Frizz gel several months ago. First, let me say that I love the fragrance! I wish I could get a shampoo and conditioner that smelled like it! Second, this product leaves my hair very soft and smooth. My problem comes with the control of the curls. If I put only this product in my hair, it can't quite do the job all alone. The best combo I have found is Suave's Weather Protection to smooth and condition followed by a small dab of gel (currently I'm using an Aussie gel) to really reign in my curls. My biggest pet peeve with styling products is crunchy hair. it is exceptionally difficult to find one product that can control my curls without crunching my hair. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will simply have to use two products. Having said that, I do think this product is worth using. For people with slightly less wild hair, it may very well be an all-in-one product. Either way, I think Suave has taken a great step towards quality hair products with an affordable price tag.

In my family hair types range from straight blonde to thick and kinky...and this product is wonderful across all types.  Granted, it smooths the blonde, while still allowing for some of the nautral volume, but without the crazy fly-aways that drive me crazy when I look at my youngest child.  My longer-haired, Shirley Temple-curled daughter really loves the feel and look of her hair after a full day of this product having been applied while wet, and the hair having air-dried.  My hair, very thick, very kinky; has responded great to this product.  Because my hair curls up even more tightly after being washed, maintaining  my air-dried Afro without shrinkage is a big problem.  Drying and splitting is a big problem for my natural hair also.  This product goes on smoothly, and is truly a creamy lotion, not a goopy application, and it moisturizes, glistens and allows for a little extension of the length of the strands as it dries, so I don't worry about shrinkage.  I LOVE it.

Suave anti frizz works for me

5

I purchased the Suave Professionals Weather Protection 365 several months ago.  I have curly hair that I can wear curly or I can straighten it with a flat iron.  My hair is very thick and long.  I am always looking for a good anti frizz product that doesn't cost a fortune.  I found the Suave Anti frizz at my local Kroger, on sale, so I decided to give it a try.  I apply it to dry hair before I use the flat iron.  I then will apply the Suave 365 after the flat iron in a very small amount just over the top of my hair.  The Suave definitely leaves me with less frizzy hair.  I am very pleased with the way it calms down the frizz.  I find it better to use before the flat iron for some reason.  If I use it after, the wettness causes my hair to curl up and therefore defeats the purpose of the flat iron.  I have tried the Suave 365 on my hair when I want it to remain curly, but haven't been thrilled with the curls. It is less frizzy, but I have found better products for controling frizz and helping curl.  Overall, this product works well for curly hair when you want to wear it straight with no frizz!

Frizz-free styling, but not a lot of hold for wavy hair.

Always on the hunt for affordable products that promise to control frizz, I grabbed a tube of Suave's Professionals Weather Protection 365 Anti-Frizz and Flyaway Cream Gel at my local drugstore. I'd read that this cream gel not only conquers frizz, but also controls curls and waves --  all hair issues I'm constantly dealing with. After shampooing, I worked a small dollop through my thin and very wavy hair and let it air dry. True, I did not have frizz, but my hair was kind of all over the place - in other words, I needed more hold than this product could offer.   For my second try, I applied the cream first, then sprayed on Suave's Volumizing Spray Gel and air dried again. A little better, but my hair still looked kind of  limp. The verdict: my hair looks better without this product. It's a knock-off of a much more expensive salon brand, and Suave's Professional line is generally good. So, I'll bet it will perform best on thicker hair.
