Suave For Kids Wild Watermelon Shampoo Review

I believe in bathing products just for kids, I find that they are generally more gentle for their skin and hair.  I really like the Suave line of kids shampoos and conditioners.  The fragrance is unbeatable.  I also like to use the shampoos myself when I am short on time, because the shampoo actually conditions and detangles as it washes. 

My daughter has really long, really thick curly hair, and it is always tough to comb.  So it is nice to have a shampoo that conditions and detangles while her hair is being washed, of course her hair being what it is she still needs additional conditioning, but getting a few tangles out during the washing process is certainly helpful. 

Suave Kids 2 in 1 shampoos comes in several different fragrance varieties our favorite one to use is the Wild Watermelon.  It also comes in: Strawberry Swirl, Cherry Blast, Dragon Fruit and Cowabunga Coconut.  We also like the Cherry Blast a lot, the we don't like the Strawberry Swirl as much but it is not bad either, we have not tried the Cowabunga Coconut.

Suave Kids 2 in 1 shampoo comes in a 12 oz bottle. The watermelon smelling one is a green bottle with a pink cap. There is a flip top lid with a small hole to get the shampoo out if on top

The recommended amount for use is a drop about the size of a quarter, per single head.

The shampoo lathers up nicely, rinses out easily.  The smell is very grape like and smells fantastic, when I say grape like I don't mean like the actual grape smell, but more like the smell of the something that is grape flavored, like a grape hard candy, or a grape bubble gum, or dark grape juice.  The smell lasts for hours and I have to say I love it.  My husband likes it on me as well.  If I take a shower in the morning he can still kind of smell it in my hair when we go to bed that night. He always comments on how good I smell.

At $2.00 per bottle Suave Wild Watermelon 2 in 1 shampoo is a good value.

Suave Kids 2 in 1 shampoo is really gentle and is Ophthalmologist-Tested Formula and is tear-free and easy on eyes.  We have been using this product for several years in my household, and that includes children and adults and we have never had one complaint about stinging eyes.

My Thoughts

This product is so popular and well liked in my house that when we tried another brand recently and the kids liked that one just fine but they asked if I could please get them their Suave for Kids Wild Watermelon 2 in 1 shampoo next time I buy them shampoo, they said they really missed the smell.  I could also a tell a huge difference with my daughters hair, although the other shampoo worked fine for cleaning her hair it just didn't do much at all for her tangles, and her hair was much harder to comb. 

Everyone in our family loves the smell of this shampoo and I enjoy having the convenience of having something to use when I am in a hurry and don't have time to shampoo and condition, this provides enough conditioner to get out most of my tangles and get me through the day.  Of course most of the time I need to condition, but some days there just isn't time.  After trying a couple of other things I also find that this really does clean and detangle better than any 2 in 1 shampoo I have ever used.  My whole family also likes walking around smelling like fresh grape bubblegum.
