These are in the little travel cups that I love so much. The cup can be stored in a cup holder in the car so long as the weather is okay or you can keep one on your desk at home. I keep one in my car, at home, and in my gym locker. They aren't really designed to fight massive breakouts but they do help if you've been working hard. If you workout or if you have makeup running on your face after sweating, these do a good job of gently scrubbing into the pores and keeping the pores from getting clogged with dirt, grime, sweat, and makeup. The smell is a bit harsh and it leaves my skin tingling but I like that the container and smell are geared towards men and women alike and that it's versatile enough for both sexes. I think it deserves a 7 because I know without this I would have had some intense breakouts. It's good to clean my chest with too so that I don't get breakouts on my breasts. Effectiveness Cleans and tones until you get a chance to wash your face again. Ease of Application Very easy product to apply. It comes prepackaged and already moistened. Convenience The packaging design makes these very convenient although they aren't really designed to just fit in a purse. Side Effects I can't use them three times a day. They're slightly drying if I apply more than once when I really need them. Immediacy As far as makeup and sweat go, it immediately washes it away and gets into the pores but with acne, it takes a few days to see results.

I have since learned that I have mild eczema. Not knowing this at the time I used these pads, unfortunately, I really burned my face. At the time I had acne all over my chin and nose area. I used these for a couple of weeks and made things worse on my face. My face burned and itched so bad. I thought that this was a sign the product was working to get rid of the pimples. I was so wrong. The skin started to peel from my face. I thought it was just dry skin but I was having a chemical reaction to the ingredients in this product. I finally went to the Doctor and found out I have mild eczema and of course acne. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the product itself, I am writing this review to let others know that if they have sensitive skin they may want to test a small area to see if they experience the same reaction. I don't recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin or known mild eczema.

The Stridex Acne Pads work, but they bother my skin. Let me start by saying that I have very sensitive skin. Most acne products I use cause irritation and redness. I continue to use them because I have always had problems with acne. When I first bought these acne pads, I used them in the morning and in the evening. After three days of doing this, my face was very red, and my nose and chin were peeling. I noticed an improvement in my acne, so I didn't want to stop using them. I began putting them on my face once a day, but the irritation continued. So, I started using them every other day. The irritation lessened, and my acne was still improving. The redness and peeling on my face was a little too much to handle. It felt like I had a constant sunburn, and people were asking me what happened to my face. I would recommend these to someone who doesn't have sensitive skin because they really do work.

I use the stronger solution in the red box (2.0%) but they are both salicylic acid and alcohol-free. Effectiveness With regular use, works pretty well to help keep pores unclogged. Ease of Application You can even cut the pads in half and have enough product for an application. Convenience Soft individual pads are very convenient. Side Effects Can be a little drying in winter. Immediacy Nothing works on acne immediately because the condition is ongoing and blemishes start long prior to their appearance.

Stridex Essential Acne Pads do not work as well as my family would like. Both of my children have struggled with acne problems as teenagers. Neither one of them has had severe acne, but they've had enough pimples and blackheads to cause them to search for products that would help. These Stridex pads seemed like the perfect solution since they could be used both to clean the face and to prevent break-outs. Unfortunately they dried my kids' faces out so much that it caused a lot of redness and flaking. And once the flaking started, both kids complained about stinging and burning. Also, these pads never really prevented break-outs. I do think they helped lessen the number of pimples that formed, but they didn't seem to prevent blackheads at all. My kids have different skin types, yet they both had problems with the redness and burning sensation. My kids and I do not feel that the side effects are worth the small amount of acne prevention these pads provide. Side Effects The side effects of redness, flaking, and burning were very troublesome.

Stridex Essential Acne Pads will clear up mild to moderate acne. These pads have essential vitamins, which are good for the skin. They also have Salicylic Acid in them. The pads do not burn or irritate my skin. They do make my skin tingle. I use my pads for spot treatment. My skin breaks out when I'm stressed, usually on my face. When that happens, I wash my face and use a pad. I use a pad on my forehead and chin the most. It removes dirt and oil. I can see how well it works. I just look at a pad after I use it. This stuff helps my skin stay clean and clear. I use it to prevent acne as well. These pads are easy to use. I take one out of the solution, then apply it to my face. You can use these pads up to three times a day. I only use mine once or twice a day. If you have severe acne, these probably won't help much. I have mild acne and not that often. These pads have a fresh, medicated smell. It's not overwhelming. They are alcohol free. I think the price is fair for the way they work. The pads are soft, and you get 55 of them in a container. I give "Stridex Essential Acne Pads" 3 STARS.

These pads were the first cleanser I used when I started caring about taking care of my skin. They are easy to use because they are pre soaked pads and you just take one out and apply it directly to your face. The solution on the pads does a good job of cleaning dirt and makeup off of your face. I avoided my eyes with these pads because I did not want to damage my eyes. I used a separate makeup remover for my eyes that was specifically formulated for eyes. But for your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin these pads do a nice job of cleaning and making your skin feel fresh and clean. The pads do not dry out in the container even after opening it numerous times. After using a pad I would pat my skin dry and apply a facial moisturizer. Ease of Application Easy to take from the jar and apply directly to your face. Convenience Jar is easy to store in your medicine cabinet. Side Effects Can have a slight uncomfortable feel. Immediacy Cleans your face immediately.

I had high hopes that the Stridex Essential Acne Pads would help control my acne, however, the pads did not seem to work at all for me. This acne treatment seemed as if it had strong enough medication within the pads to create a barrier to prevent more acne and blemishes to form but it did not. Even washing my face prior to use on every application, this product dried out my skin terribly. Effectiveness The effectiveness of this product for me was slim to none. I did not notice any change in the reduction or prevention of my acne. Ease of Application This acne treatment is very easy to apply on my face. With it's ridged pads they help keep the medication being applied stay in place. Convenience These acne pads are very convenient to use at home but not so much if you want to them on the go. Side Effects This product made the skin on my face totally dry. The medication in the pads stripped my natural oils. Immediacy I did not see any immediate or long term positive effect. I had to stop using this brand 2 weeks after starting and there was no acne improvement.

I only tried this product a couple of times, but I did think that it was a good item. It helped my acne clear up, but also cleaned my face well too. I always use a facial cleansing pad or astringent before I wash my face to remove all of my make up. This facial cleansing pad is great because not only does it clean your face, it is also wonderful for treating acne. I have had issue with under the skin blemishes that are painful and get very red. This product helped to dry those blemishes out, thus bringing down the redness and the pain. These pads did dry out my face a little bit and I was not happy about that. However, about two weeks after using them, my skin seemed to regulate and I did not experience the dryness as much. Since then, I have found a facial cleansing/acne clearing pad that I like better, but Stridex is definitely one that I would considering using again at some point. The cost for their product is very reasonable and it works very well.

I am 54 years old so I don't have bad acne but do get the occasional zit, especially on my chin. I bought these to use just when I have a zit. They are easy to use and do an okay job, I guess, They do tend to dry my skin out if I use them all over my face. My face will start to flake if I use them for a few days straight. I don't think they get rid of the zit any faster than if I didn't use anything but it makes me feel like I am doing something. They also make my face feel tight which means I have to use some Olay to moisturize my face. They may be okay for someone younger with more elastic skin but I don't think they are for older people with less moisture in their skin. Effectiveness Don't really think it did anything to clear up the zit. Just felt like I was doing something constructive. Ease of Application Very easy to use and you can see the dirt on the pad and then just throw it away. Keeps for a long time as long as you store them somewhere cool. Convenience Very convenient and can just use once in a while if needed. Side Effects Does then to dry my face out and it will flake and feel very tight. Immediacy Can use this just when you need it and it is immediately ready to use.
