Strayer University - SC Review Summary
Adults have many options in higher education and Strayer University is one university that is designed to fit the needs of those who work. Strayer University gets high marks from those who have attended for its flexibility that allows classroom or online study; its easy access to anyone with a personal computer; and its helpful and friendly personnel. Strayer University is “A Great School for the Working Adult” and the “Best Place for a Good Education”. But there are many who do not think very highly of Strayer University like one reviewer who referred to it as “A Diploma Mill with Accredidation”. Among the things some reviewers dislike is the fact that Strayer University has regional accredidation but not program accredidation and that the university is often difficult to contact with questions. Considering the pros and cons, Strayer University ranks as an average Educational Institution with an equal number of good and bad points.

Strayer advertises itself as accreditated...however this is just for regional accreditation, and not for program accreditation.
Regional accreditation simply means a college has systems in place to educate students, and is not simply letting people pay for degrees.

The course work was well below a college level, barely high school material. And the professors seem content to pass everybody without challenging them.
Overall I am very unsatisfied with Strayer Online and would not recommend to anybody.

I recently transfer from a overseas country.
Thay made it very easy for me and accepted every course i transfer.
school its not very demanding.
it has good schedule for working people.
its a little pricy for the academical level.
perfect to get your academic title in a short time, they give you many alternatives for credit courses.
