Stratford Upholstery Main Event Mocha Sectional Review

So my husband and I scoped out sectional couches for over a month, online.  There are some styles that are exceptionally popular out there, and those styles come in a box and pop together.  This makes them quite inexpensive, but it worried my husband and I because we're fat.  How could lego furniture stand up to all the junk in our trunks?  Toss in the fact that we have a near two-year-old, and we wanted something that would stand the test of... at least five years.

We have had the couch a week now, so I can't tell you how it will hold up over time, but i can tell you this:

• The microfiber, both in color and texture, is beautiful, and easy to clean (the wonderful thing about microfiber is that it cleans with a damp cloth)
• It's very, very comfortable
• It's spacious and seats four comfortably, and probably up to 6 or so, tightly
• It's very attractive in design - quite modern
• It feels sturdy - it comes in two preconstructed pieces - we had ours delivered, which I'd have to recommend because it is fairly large
• It was super affordable compared to similar pieces - $699.99 (as of October 2009, without the ottoman)

No complaints from me, other than the store it comes from (Mor Furniture, review for them later) doesn't have a great reputation, but their service to us was decent.  I was a little afraid of ordering from them, however, due to their online reviews.

All in all, I love my new sectional, and I'm super glad we purchased it!
