If you like onions

1

I bought two Stouffer's Chicken Pot Pies Yesterday and cooked one for lunch. It was more like a onion pot pie. All I could taste was the onion. I understand putting onion in foods however when it just over powers the rest of the flavors of the food it is just not good. I will not buy be this product again.

A Great Late Night Snack!

4

I started buying these years ago when they were still packaged in a metal tin instead of a microwave safe disposable bowl. If you want the best taste from this you need to take it out of the disposable bowl and bake it in the oven or in a toaster oven. They are single serve and I have no problem eating one with a salad but the sodium content in it is on the high side so this is a rare treat for me these days. The top of the pot pie browns nicely in the oven but even if you microwave it you are still going to get something that tastes a little above average. It won't be as flakey but it will still have a nice taste. The filling is creamy and the vegetables in it are not mushy or soggy; they cook evenly but you do need to vent the top of it by piercing it with a fork a few times. If you don't do that the sides will split as it is heating up. This doesn't have as much sodium as the beef pot pies from Stouffer's but 930 milligrams is still a lot for one serving; if you are having this with a salad or soup it is filling and it is something that can be prepared in about ten minutes if you want a late night snack and plan on microwaving it. Once you have cooked it you should let it sit for about five minutes; the inside will be hot so resist the urge to dive in to it or you will end up with a burnt mouth. While these are definitely not the best thing to be smacking on late at night, I consider it an occasional indulgence. Before I had a heart attack I would eat these a couple times a week, now I might have one a month.

I LOVE these chicken pot pies!

As a huge fan of chicken pot pies, especially frozen ones, Stouffer's makes some of the BEST! Real white meat chicken, fresh-tasting vegetables, and thick creamy gravy in a pastry shell that's delicious by ITSELF...you won't believe it's good for you! It's so easy to bake and you'll want way more than one when you taste it!

Delicious

Stouffer's white meat chicken pot pie is delicious. I usually do not eat frozen foods, but I make an exception with Stouffer's white meat chicken pot pie. It makes for a complete meal for either lunch or dinner. I really enjoy the crispy and flavor packed taste of Stouffer's white meat chicken pot pie. Stouffer's white meat chicken pot pie is filled with a lot of flavorful vegetables. I really like eating the juices from the chicken and vegetables. I do not eat frozen foods very often, but I usually eat Stouffer's white meat chicken pot pie around once every two or three months. My brother also loves eating Stouffer's white meat chicken pot pie. When he comes home my mom has to buy some for him. Stouffer's white meat chicken pot pie has nice chunks of chicken. Stouffer's chicken pot pies are also easy to cook/prepare. While it is in the oven cooking, I can usually do something else.

Chicken Pot Pie

This Stouffer's White Meat Chicken Pot Pie isn't half bad. The flavor is really good and how easy it is to prepare make it appealing. The price also makes it tempting to buy. But the downfall is you have to buy two or three to get full. The serving is kind of small and unsatisfying.

A frozen single serving chicken pot pie.

Stouffer's White Meat Chicken Pot Pie has white meat chicken and vegetables with gravy in a flaky crust. The meat and vegetables are fine and the crust is surprisingly tasty for a frozen pot pie. However, the whole thing is overshadowed by the ridiculously salty gravy. It's virtually inedible.

Cute and tasty

These little pot pies I usually eat two of at a time, but they are very well made and provide all elements of the food triangle. You have the crust, veggies, meat, and the wonderful gravy-like soup it's filled with. This pie is very tasty indeed. This is the brand of pot pie that my family and I always buy. Though this is very clearly a frozen food product, and seems a bit like one in appearance while eating, the actual food is great.
