I am a nervous mom and always wants to prepare earlier for the incoming events. I bought this crib in my early pregnancy before it's getting too difficult for me to assemble this crib. This product is heavy, about 70 ponds, and comes with separated pieces and detailed instructions. You need some extra tools, (different styles of screwdrivers) to put all the pieces together. It's not a easy work though. I definitely could not finish the work by myself. My husband and I spent about more than 1 hour to asseble it. And I think we are quite efficient already. The outcome is much better than we expected. The crib is convertible. The bedplate is adjustable. You can keep it higher for the little infant and make it easy for you to put down and pick up the baby. When the baby grows, you can lower the bedplate so that the baby can stand up on the bed. It can also be used as toddler bed or headboard. There is also an drawer for diapers and changing pads, which is very convenient. Afterall, we love this crib pretty and have had it in my bedroom for several months. I can imagin how beautiful it would be with my baby sleeping inside.

This is a beautiful crib.  It was fairly easy to set up, took my husband and I maybe an hour and a half to put together.  The Storkcraft Baby Chelsea 4 in 1 crib fits a standard crib mattress and bedding.  I love the drawers beneath this crib this crib to store excess bedding.  I feel in a nursery you can never have enough storage and this gives a little extra.  We are able to fit four large blankets as well as some extra changing and burp cloths in there as well.  One thing I would recommend is buying the rubber protective liners that protect the crib against teething bites.  All along the tops of our crib you can see teeth marks from where the paint has chipped away from my daughter chewing on them.  We don't mind this but I know some moms and dads who so.  We have not transitioned this bed to a toddler bed yet but I am excited that we have that option when the time comes.  I love that this bed with grow with our daughter.

This crib took me and my brother a while to assemble for my son who was soon to be born. I thought that the directions were clear, but all of the pieces and screws that had to be put in the crib to assemble it made the process long and tedious. When i got the crib all set up, the mattress that I bought for it fit perfectly and the structure of the crib was sturdy and firm. This crib is made from solid wood so I know that it will last me many years. The crib also has and insert for putting under neath it that can be pulled out. I use this insert trundle to put extra clothing and blankets for my baby. I like that this crib will last my son many years. When he outgrows the crib, I will be able to transform it into a normal sized bed for my son. This bed has a non toxic coating on it so that means it is safe for my son to suck on the wood, which he actually does alot since he is at the stage where he is teething.

We love this crib! Aside from needing the new kit to make the sliding bar stay in one place, it is a wonderful bed for baby! This is the first crib we ever bought, and we absolutely loved it! The color is great. Edges are rounded. I compared it several times to another crib we bought  and it is definitely the best one. We have used it for a couple years now, as a baby crib and then a toddler bed. It made a fantastic toddler bed! Great size and the shape of the top is so beautiful. The wood does scratch very easily. As baby/toddler stands up in it to chew on the side of the rail, it chips off a little. Also, as I took it apart a few days ago to move it to a different room, I only had to twist the screws a couple of times and it just FELL DOWN. So, maybe thats why they recalled them? Or recalled some part of them? Well, overall, we are extremely pleased with this purchase. Will continue to use this crib until we don't need to anymore.
