We love yogurt in our family, so when our pediatrician said it was ok to introduce yogurt (NOT MILK - please consult your pediatrician) to our 6 month old, we did it right away. We started with jarred baby food yogurts because they were inexpensive and we could buy one at a time. Once he took to it, we tried Stoneyfield Farms Organic YoBaby in Banana and Vanilla. I liked that it was a known organic brand and that it was the right size for two servings, lunch and dinner. I also like the all natural approach, illustrated by the fact that the cream rises to the top on the yogurt. BUT, during the first feeding, my husband asked me how much sugar was in it. The answer? 12 GRAMS!!!! We usually eat plain yogurt with fresh fruit mixed in to cut down on unnecessary sugar. So, once this 6 pack is done, I will switch to plain Organic Yogurt for baby too. Not only is it better for him, but cheaper, too!!!!
