Covers well

4

I was introduced to Stila products about a year ago and I think that the entire line is fairly good. I was skeptical that a one step product could really work for me. I tend to get dark circles under my eyes, I have iron deficiency that causes it and usually even concealers don't completely take it away. So, I tried it out and it really did a good job of covering evenly, it went on smooth, blended well and although it didn't completely conceal my dark undereye area, it did minimize it pretty good. I also was afraid that it would not last all day, I am a busy Mom and I don't have time to reapply anything, lol, but to my surprise it lasted straight through the day. I would recommend this to anyone to try out.

Pretty, but pricey

I just tried a sample of this stuff and love it. I am happy with my drugstore foundation but this stuff has the 'finishing powder' in it also so it was better in that way...loved the ease of this product BUT I won't purchase it because it is too expensive. This all in one foundation is exactly what it says it is, all in one. No need for concealer, or powder. Just dab extra around eyes and nose where you need extra coverage and your done. No need to set your foundation with loose powder. It makes my skin glow and keeps shine away. They have temporarily discontinued it because the shades were in consistent. So glad I snagged one before they were sent back! I use the color "tone" I have fair Asian skin. Doesn't feel heavy at all like most foundations. Just takes a little bit for coverage and has a light powdery finish. I usually use mineral powder for a light coverage but they rub off by the end of the day. This works with more staying power but doesn't look like I have foundation on at all.

Not good at all for my skin

1

I really thought I was going to like this product--I've generally liked and had success with Stila products and a primer and foundation in one sounds great! Yeah, no. I can't believe how much I didn't like it. The consistency is thick, which I did like. But once I applied it, I could tell it seemed a little bit dry and cakey. I looked in the mirror about an hour after applying and I couldn't believe it--it made me look like I have wrinkles under my eyes, which I usually don't. (Or if they are there, they are very unnoticeable usually. This REALLY accentuated them.) Also, the area near my chin appeared to be dry and flaking! I generally have normal skin, maybe a more toward the oily side in my T-zone, so this was really out of character for my skin. I have no idea why, but this product did just not work well for me at all. I think I'll stick with a regular primer and a different foundation from now on.

i really like this conceler! you have to blend it really well or you may get orange spots. but once placed accuatly it looks really good. i have acne acne scars and dark spots around my eyes and it covers everything up nicely. it makes your skin look perfect! it matches your skin tone really well also, but like i said you have to blend because its this thick tecture. i use a make up spunge a have a make up brush but because the coverup is so thick it makes streaks.but once blended it doesnt come up thick or cakey either. you do not need to apply any powder on top. i really recomend this product! this make up lasts a really long time also just need to apply it once a day. this make up makes me feel like not wearing eyeliner or shadow or powder because of how good it makes your skin look. it makes your skin tone look even and it doesnt wear off all day, i like to wear it to work because it last so long.

Stila one step makeup

I was really excited at first to try out the new stila one step foundation, only because it's fast and easy. I don't have much time to get ready so this would be a perfect foundation for me. However when i received the product and actually try it out it wasn't really anything special. The coverage was okay, what i don't like was how thick it felt. I tried to heated up with my finger before apply but it wasn't any help. For that reason i don't like to use the product as much, because i find it hard to bend. Packaging is decent and it comes with the pump so that is a plus. My opinion is base on my preference since i like light coverage and product that are light weight on my face to create a natural look. Therefore i think for those that like more coverage would find this product likeable. Plus it's not as expensive as most foundation out there, so for those that have some extra money give it a try.

Stila one step is awesome

I have tried so many other brands of make up before stumbling upon stila one step foundation......and i fell in love with it. You just have to go one step darker.... I do have oily skin so  almost all of   the  liquid foundation i used will look perfect when i put it on but  after a while my skin will  start to look too oily and shiny. ...Stila one step does the trick!!!! even after 5 hrs my face looked the same as when I left my house..... It is definitely long wearing and does not get oily or cause breakouts...... It also stays on all day and really doesn't settle into my pores (they are large)...... This is by far the best **foundation** I've ever used. This **foundation** looks beautiful on photos too....I was little hesitant to spend this amount of money on a foundation but i think its money well spend...I would definitely recommend this to any one  who  has  oily skin and have a hard time to find a foundation that doesnt cause breakouts......
