This lip & cheek stain is pretty good. It is great as a lip stain. It lasts all day and blends well to look like it's my natural lip color. It's a little sticky but not bad, I just wear balm over it. As a cheek stain, it's good but it's hard to apply to cheeks using the tiny brush it has so I use a makeup sponge. Unfortunately this wastes some product and since it's a really small tube to begin with, I don't use it on my cheeks as much. I think since it is for cheeks too it should have more product, instead of just being in a regular lip stain tube.

I love putting on makeup, but detest taking a long time to do it. So anything that works great and can shorten my beauty routine is a godsend in my book. In search of fabulous, time-saving makeup applicators, I decided to purchase a Stila Lip & Cheek Stain in Cherry Crush and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. The color looks great on both my lips and cheeks - sometimes hard to find in a stain - and the staying power is pretty good. The color on my cheeks last all day; on my lips about half the day - which is about what I expect with everything you eat and drink. I have since purchased Yumberry Crush color and love it just as much.The colors look very natural AND smell amazing. I use one of them almost every day; definitely one of my favorite beauty products.

I really like dual purpose beauty products, especially when I am travelling. The Stila Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain is similar to Benefit's Benetint which can be purchased in a bottle with a brush or a wand with liquid color on one side and a clear gloss on the other. And if you use Stila Cherry Crush on your lips you are going to want something to help hold the color and something to keep your lips from drying out because I found this to be incredibly drying on my lips. I love it for the cheeks. Do some arm exercises to prepare for twisting the product up to the brush. Like most products in this type of container, it takes forever and then way more product than you need comes gushing forth. The color on the cheeks is just right for a casual makeup look. It dries fairly quickly so put on a little, rub it in and reapply for more color if necessary. Stila claims that the color is self adjusting to suit individual skin coloring. I can't attest to that, but I do love the way Cherry Crush looks on my lips, but I do not like the way it feels. The color makes my lips look as though I was born with pretty, rosy lips which is so not the case. The downside is that it really dries my lips out almost immediately so I use a moisturizing lip pencil underneath or swipe some clear lip gloss on top.

I love this color, which is actually pretty versatile. If you apply just a little, it gives your lips a bit of a flush, kind of like when you bite your lip. But if you really draw it on, it's a vibrant cherry red, which I've gotten compliments on. It's very bold, but very pretty. Like the other reviewers say, this stuff lasts. It's not called a stain for nuthin'! One night, I put this on around 5:30. We ate, I had some fountain drinks, and we talked a lot. Still, at 1 a.m., my lips were still the same color as before. The only potential downside is that I think most of us have gotten used to a slightly glossy finish on lips. This is a stain. It doesn't shine. On the one hand, that makes it look more natural. It's not like our lips are shiny on their own. On the other, if you're going to go vibrant, you probably want to put on some gloss. Still, that's a simple enough fix that I think it's well worth the five stars I've given it.

I love this original stain from Stila.  Once upon a time I used benetint from Benefit Cosmetics.  I loved it on my lips, but not the packaging.  It reminded me too much of a nail polish bottle and didn't travel all that well.  Years later when I saw Stila's Cherry Crush Cheek and Lip Stain I knew I wanted to try it.  It has a great cherry color.  A nice cherry scent and I really like the lip stain idea.  The packaging is super cute.  You twist the bottom and the product clicks into it's own brush.  Be careful when using the product for the first time, there is a little lag between the clicks and when the product comes out for the first time, but after it is started you are good to go.  I really like this lip stain.  It is great for work and day wear.  During the day I just add a little spf lip balm and I'm good to go as this product dries on and doesn't provide any moisture, but it's there to stain the lips and stay all day, it's not a lip gloss or lip stick.  No touching up needed all day, even after eating.  While I find this product looks great on my cheeks as well, I rarely put it there.  I prefer Stila's convertable color for my cheeks.  In summary, this is a great product and a great color.  When I run out, I haven't in months and months, I will be getting another one.

If Cherry isn't your thing, try the Pomegranate or Yumberry--any of Stila's Lip and Cheek Stains can work on any skin tone!

This is a really cool stain for you lips and cheeks! it definitely does not dry out your lips or cheeks like others usually do. It glides on with a creamy texture and dries with a really pretty sheen to it. I love it. I think Im going to buy one in another color.
