Stihl MS250 Review

The STIHL MS250 chainsaw is great for the homeowner who has lots of trees to cut down.  I cut down three trees on the weekend and it worked great.  Mine has an 18 inch bar which I find so much better than the standard 16 inch bar.  I cut down 2 medium size cedar trees plus a medium sized hard maple tree.  It also is very good on gas consumption; I only used a little more than two tanks of gas for the three trees which included cutting the trees down, limbing them and cutting the tree trunks into fire ready pieces.  The automatic chain oiling system also worked flawlessly.  I would seriously suggest to anyone looking for a new chainsaw that this is the one for you.  The saw is a little bit on the heavy side, so that by the end of the day I was a little tired particularly in my upper arms.  However, as I haven't been using a chainsaw for well over 6 months or so, I'm probably a little out of shape for the job.  Still I would highly recomend this saw.
