I purchased the Stihl BG 55 gas hand blower after researching the web and visiting a few lawn and garden stores. This easy to start blower lives up to the manufacturer's description.  It's lightweight, yet powerful enough to efficiently handle leaf or grass and debris blowing.  I was surprised at how quickly it adapts to the project at hand.  I've used my hand blower more often than I dreamed. The Stihl BG55 is one of the best blowers on the market. I say one of the best because Stihl makes more than one model. I have been using Stihl equipment for over 12 years and some of the original equipment is still in use. BG55 starts right up every time, usually one pull to choke and a second pull to start. Very minimal maintenance is required, usually, if the unit wont start it is out of fuel. Otherwise it is simple as changing the spark plug or cleaning the filter. i happen to own one of thease products and every october me and my son go out and blow leaves in a pile and we have the dogs come out and we all play in the leaves are neighbors are very happy we own one of the hand held leaf blowers becasuse we go over to their yard and collect all there leaves.its almost christmas time so everyone that has ahusbund or a family i would recomend you go out and buy one of these products

Stihl has done the right thing in this product.  This hand held BG55 blower is by far the best thing since the string trimmer.
