Steve and Barry's - All Over, U.S. Review

My friend & I recently went into Steve & Barry's for the first time - to the Santa Monica, CA store.  We were so excited because we'd both seen the Bitten line advertised & heard how low the prices were.

What a let-down.  The items are not marked with prices - sometimes you can find the prices posted on a sign above the rack - but if there are multiple items you don't know what the price applies to. Don't assume - we did and when the clerk double checked, we were wrong.

I tried on four pairs of pants - all the same size, different styles. Some were too big & others were too small.  Talk about inconsistent!! 

We were equally unimpressed with the staff, they didn't seem to have had any training in providing good customer service. None were rude, and when we asked them questions they did help us. But they seemed more interested in having personal conversations with one another (face to face and over their store walkie-talkies) than asking customers if they could provide any assistance. 

The prices are indeed low - but we still didn't buy anything.
