For years I stored all my scrapbooking materials in 4 big bulky storage boxes.  This was mostly so I could shove them under my bed since I still lived with my parents and didn't have a spare room to leave it in.  Ever since I got married I've been thinking of buying something new to organize my craft supplies, and it was just last weekend that I happened across the Sterilite 7-Drawer Craft Cart at Target.  I've bought other Sterilite organizers before and knew they were good quality, so I was excited to buy this one even with the $30 price tag.

It Rolls
It's called a cart because it rolls!  That means once you fill it up with all your crafts, you can easily roll it around to the room you feel like working in.  It is difficult to roll on thick carpet, but on flat carpet or hardwood floors it is a breeze.

It has 7-Drawers
The 7 drawers are all 12" x 12" which any scrapbooker knows is great because most scrapbooks are 12" x 12".  It is rare to find an organizing bin that fits this size because it's usually too short one way or the other.  Since this cart was designed for crafts, they knew to make it bigger.

These drawers are different than other organizers because they have lids attached.  That means that each drawer becomes a handy carrying case when you pull it out.  They slide in and out of their spots with no effort at all, and the lid snaps open and closed with ease.  I also like the lid idea because it means no dust will sneak it's way into my craft supplies.  It's a great way to keep things clean and accessible at the same time.

It fits way more than expected
I started out going through my 4 boxes and trying to decide how I would divide it up.  I knew for sure I needed a drawer just for stickers, and another just for paper, then I started to worry that I wouldn't have enough drawers for all my stuff.  My fears were not realized, however, as everything ended up fitting into one of 7 categories.  Now all my supplies are much more organized than before and they are all in one cart together.

I want another one!
I like it so much, I'm thinking of getting another one to organize my other crafts!  I'm also into needlework and paint by numbers and such, so I was thinking another one of these would be perfect for those supplies.  You could use this for a lot of things actually.  It might be great for your little girls to use to store their barbie supplies!  Or for your boys to store their different army men.  Or for legos!  Whatever you want.  Your kids will love having little carrying cases for all their little toys that can be stored in one place, and you will love how organized they are.

Look for this at target today for any of your small-time organization needs.  Enjoy!!

Be careful of the wheels on this because my wheels literally broke off one by one. Mine was the same name brand but a different storage unit. Great review though!

I don't have any artsy stuff, but I imagine I could put something like this to use organizing my garage....
