This book brought out tears and cheers. It was so very easy to lose yourself in the pages of this book. I love a good thriller and a heart-grabbing love story and this was both all wrapped into one.
Made me think a lot about the "everyday intimacies" I share with my husband - the things that only the two of us could understand, that unspoken "lauguage" that years together develops. It also made me consider the hidden terrors and hardships that people have encountered in their lives that perhaps they haven't shared with even closest friends...definitely provoked a lot of thought for me.
for as much as I read it, still have to finish it, it is very interesting.. you can actually feel the emotions that lisey's going through.. I have to read it slow, few chapters at a time, I lost my significant other 4 years ago and felt like I was lisey...

Her relationships with her crazy sister was warm and loving but, honest in it's frustrating nature. Her relationship with her husband was deeply developed, when his death was described I teared up. I believe that we all have an "imaginary" (it was a real place in this story) that we can go to heal our psyches and emotional wounds and I don't find it too hard to believe that some people just get...
