Stephanie Plum Series —

Not since Bridget Jones have I enjoyed a character in literature so much as Stephanie Plum. Janet Evanovich, a #1 New York Times Best Selling Author, has created a series of adventures led by Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter from Trenton, New Jersey. Plum's only a successful bounty hunter by luck, she took the job just to pay the rent. Lucky for us readers, she's lasted 13 novels. We are invited into Plum's world in the 'Burg - full of crazy relatives, slick FTAs (Failure To Appears), and her sometimes sidekick Lula, an ex hooker who weighs about 300 pounds but dresses in size six spandex.

In a world where everyone (including Stephanie's grandma) packs heat, Cher is a style icon and crime is rampant, Stephanie uses her sense of humor and fearless streak to make the capture. Each novel focuses on a new FTA case with major characters reappearing throughout the series.

BONUS: Stephanie has two men in her life and they follow her love escapes also.
1. Joseph Morelli - a former bad boy turned Trenton cop who Stephanie occasionally co-habitates with, until he tells her what to do.
2. Ranger - Stephanie's bounty hunter mentor, who also captures her curiousity and at times, libido

Read the series:
One For The Money
Two For The Dough
Three To Get Deadly
Four To Score
High Five
Hot Six
Seven Up
Hard Eight
To The Nines
Tne Big Ones
Eleven On Top
Twelve Sharp

Fun Fact: Janet Evanovich allows her fans to name her novels. Just go to her Web site and enter your suggestion into the drawing. She dedicates each book to the winner of the chosen title.

That is an excellent interpretation of Stephanie Plum. However, I think I like Stephanie Plum better than Bridget Jones...and I LOVE Bridget Jones!
