When my daughter turned one, my parents bought the Step2 Water Wheel Water Table for her. She loved it from the start as did the other children at the birthday party. She is now FOUR years old and still plays with the water table on hot summer days.
She has a brother who loves the Step2 Water Wheel Water Table too. He just turned two and he actually started playing with the table when he was only a baby. He loved kicking his feet in the water when he was just a few months old, and he loved hitting the water with his little hands.
Anytime we have playdates, the children always ask if it's okay to go outside so that they can play with the water table.
What I have found interesting is the fact that as my daughter has gotten older, her play with the water table has changed. At first, she'd just splash around with her hands and the toys that came with it. Now she's using cups to gather water for the flower garden or to pour water in her sand box so that she can have wet sand. She also uses the water table to clean her hands if they get too messy.
