I was trying to find a toy that would keep both my three year old daughter and one year old son busy while in my backyard. I saw this water/ sand table but was skeptical at first. I thought it would make too much of a mess. I was right and wrong about that! Any parent knows that if you give kids water plus sand you will get mud. Even though there was a mess, the table was made with clean up in mind. I was able to pull the plug that was located in the bottom of the table and clean up the mess. That was when I got smart. I decided that I would use the whole table as a sand table and then when I needed to replace the sand I would clean it out and turn it into a water table. My kids loved the toys that came with the table and I loved the umbrella. It provided shade to the kids while they played. I also put the table on my deck so that any sand that was spilled was just hosed away when the kids were done. The most important thing that it came with was a cover. This cover enables me to leave the table outdoors without having to worry about germs or animal feces getting into the sand. I also have had it out through many rain storms and there hasn't been so much as a leak. The table has been a hit for kids from 1 - 6 so far!
