Worst mattress ever

1

The comments are true it sags and you sleep in a hole that you try and crawl out of. There is a ridge around the outside that makes you fall back in the center and you also lose space making the surface smaller than it should be. The worst mattress I ever had. I wake with back pain everyday. My old mattress I had for 10 years and it is better than this one. So sorry I made the purchase.

Horrible mattress experience Durability My husband and I bought a top of the line plush top mattress that was very expensive. We were guaranteed that this mattress would last for years. We bought it 5 months ago. We turned it more than recommended. What we have is huge dips in the mattress that have caused me severe back, neck and hip pain. We never got a copy of the warranty and have called the store many times to ask for our money back. They have given us several excuses and now tell us it must be our bed frame. They want us to buy a bed frame from them. They won't come out and look at the mattress or even listen unless we change out the frame. We get it. This is a worthless product that we are stuck with. Obviously no one is going to do anything for us. But we will never buy another Stearns Foster product. We also have a very large family and group of friends and associates. We will spread the word.

Stearns & Foster Mattress

4

The time had come that we needed to replace our old bed, so we did some research before heading out to the different stores to shop. We had learned that the Stearns & Foster brand was considered a top of the line mattress. After much comparison shopping the one we picked out was a firm, king size plush top, with a matching box spring. The mattress lives up to the expectations we had - with hardly any evidence of wear and tear. It supports your body, is still as firm as the day we got it and is very durable. It is also extremely heavy to move, and usually takes 2-3 people to do so. In fact, I found it a little too firm at first, but have gotten used to it. My teenagers on the other hand, LOVE it!! They are constantly pointing out how much nicer my bed is than theirs (which by the way, theirs were purchased at the same time as mine and was their choice!). Very nice mattress set, well worth the money.

Disappointing

2

We bought a king size Stearns & Foster Estate Eureka Springs Luxury Firm mattress two years ago. I wanted a firm mattress that would last so we paid a higher price than we normally would have for a mattress, hoping that we wouldn't have to buy another one for a long while. I was very disappoointed at how quickly this mattress went saggy on both my husbands and my side of the mattress. I find myself gravitating to the middle of the mattress to find the firmness that the whole mattress originally had. It is very disappointing, especially since the salesperson told us that this mattress kept it shape so well that it never needed to be flipped over like some mattresses. Very disappointing.

My husband purchased a new mattress and boxspring when I was away on a trip for work. Not a nice surprise. It is too hard and I dont feel as though I get a good nights sleep. I toss and turn alot. Can't quite find a comfortable position. Shouls have returned it.

I will never buy another brand of mattress

This is the best mattress i have ever owned.  It doesn't leave us with back pain from "pressure points".  We dont find ourselves tossing and turning all night to find a comfortable position.  My parents also own this type of mattress, and have had it for over 10 years.  They say it is as comfortable today as the day they bought it.  their recommendation was the reason we bought ours, and i am certainly glad i did. I will definitely buy another S & F down the road!

Love my mattress after 2.5 years

5

My husband and I got a Calif. King S&F Eureka Springs Luxury Plush about 2.5 years ago. We both are back/side sleepers and prefer soft mattresses. If we got a sleep number bed, we would have the same sleep number - whatever the lowest number is. The reason we chose this bed was because it was soft, yet still supportive. We absolutely love it still. We dislike sleeping anywhere else because nothing compares to our bed at home. I love that I don't roll into him. I can sleep in any position and still be comfortable. Other people have said that it falls apart or that it sags, but we haven't had this problem, even though my husband is a heavy guy (250 lbs). The pillow top still feels fluffy and soft with adequate support beneath that.

"SEVERE PAIN"

1

We have only had our stearns and foster king size mattress for 3 years and this thing is trash.  I can no longer sleep on it or flip it so I just threw it away and we are sleeping on a air mattress.  I can't believe any product, especially US made product, could go south so fast.  Please do not buy anything from this company.

Hate It!

Within 2 years this mattress has depressions on both sides. Much worse on his side, where it feels like the materials inside are splitting apart. Time to use the warranty (again). Sealy didn't work for us either....now what should we do ????????????

HORRIBLE, will NEVER buy Stearns & Foster EVER again.

1

My husband and I decided to get a new mattress, and went to our local Bernie & Phylls to pick one out. We were told that the Stearns & Foster was a top of the line mattress. The mattress we picked out was a king size, firm, plush top. There was a lifetime warrenty that we also purchased. (We were never told about the conditions of that warrenty, nor did we get anything in writing.) Within one year, the mattress was sagging, the stitching came undone, and the fabric started to run like a nylon. Upon calling the company we were told that this was "normal" wear and tear. I had my other mattress for 15 years, and it was still in MINT condition; so I KNOW this is not normal wear and tear. We were able to return the mattress, but talked to others who had purchased Stearns & Foster and they all ran into the same problems within a year. Stearns & Foster is an overpriced, overrated product that is a rip off. I will advise ANYONE thinking about getting one, not to.
