Good overall, not so great locally.

A great insurance company in general in Florida. No hidden costs, decent rates. But Susan Collins insurance in Orlando has terrible customer service. They're unresponsive sometimes to questions, they lose paperwork, and they just generally don't seem to care. I like the company, I hate the East Orlando Rep.

Wow, you feel so strongly, you posted it twice! So either Susan Collins has improved things, they like you better, or you are Susan Collins. It has been a few months since I've been in there, but we had quite a few problems as I stated. Specifically with supplimental coverage on a jewelry policy, they lost paperwork, and the representatives we worked with had no clue what was going on and it took us a few months to straighten it out. I've had other agents that really had their act together by comparison. But your right, perhaps 'hate' is a bit too stong. Let's say 'unhappy with the local rep'. Otherwise, I'll stand by my review until I have to deal with them again..especially since State Farm is going to drop Florida homeowner coverage this year. Thanks for the comments.

I totally disagree with this one "Customerwrong". I've had Susan Collins as my agent for years. She's always taken great steps to make sure we've had proper coverage through annual reviews of our whole insurance program. She and her office staff are courteous, prompt with respones, and have handled our business with acuracy. She's up to date with her office and has been there for us through numerous events in our lives, including several hurricanes. I trust her and her office to handle all of my insurance and financial services that State Farm offers. "Customerright" probably needs to rethink this...was he in the wrong office? He says he hates this rep. "Hate" is a pretty strong word...has he even met this person he refers to as the East Orlando Rep?...I doubt it.
