State Farm Review

I have been a State Farm user for years.  But the minute you have an accident, your good neighbor, State Farm, is not there for you.  I pay my monthly bill and that is my end of the bargain but they do not keep up their end because they don't fix your car.  I've have paid my bill every month on time and I had an accident about six weeks ago and the man who caused the accident left the scene so I am having to fix my car myself...forget the fact that it wasn't my fault.  And instead of being treated like a victim, my own insurance company is treating me like a criminal.  This is only one of two claims, I have ever had and six weeks later my car still isn't fixed, the claims adjuster made fun of my car and the former paint job that I had, had done via State Farm and he denies I did it through them.  Whatever, he's never met me but if he thinks he knows don't bother explaining it, because they aren't listening anyways, so save your breath.  I do however, find it extremely funny that he is making fun of a job that I did through one of their select body shops.  IRONY!   They will not give me my check, they are dragging their feet, and the adjusters are very rude and patronizing.  And here's a few tips for you that they might not tell you until you need them, first off, they don't fix your car to the condition in which it was they used reconditioned parts, which are parts that have a slight defect as they say and they fix them, they are not new and they are not the model in which you have.  For instance, I have a Ford Mustang, I need a new bumper and a new headlight, the headlight I just bought new about three weeks before the incident but I didn't keep the reciept, big mistake because now I'm getting a used part, not through Ford and not for a Mustang, and a Mustang lamp is about a $100, that money is flushed.  So, my headlights will now not match, but its my fault for not keeping the reciept, I just assumed that the insurance company would be on my side, seeing as how they are my insurance company and all.  The bumper as I was informed will also not be new or a Ford because my car has been out in the rain before.  Kind of a lame excuse if you ask me.  The bumper was new, in mint condition, I've never had an accident before in my car.  Somebody, please answer me when I ask, what exactly is the point of having insurance.  Oh, and fact number two, your insurance agent, mine is Ricky Fritz,  I'm not gonna condone him, he doesn't fight for you, he is nothing but a face for the company, he is not a represtentative for you or a middle man, you have to fight for yourself...FANTASTIC!.  I have been fighting myself for six weeks, and am no where closer to having my car fixed, it doesn't matter, don't even bother.  They don't listen and they don't plan to, they defend themselves by saying everybody else does it, so we do to.  WOW! Have I heard that before, except most people stop using that as an argument after they leave high school but it's a good motto for a company, isn't it.  They shaft you so we will too, because really what's the point of being any different or any better.

PLEASE DO NOT USE STATE FARM AND IF YOU HAVE THEM FOLLOW MY LEAD AND LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
