I have been with State Farm for my car insurance for the last 6 years, and I have always been satisfied; my agent has consistently proven to be courteous, professional, and willing to help in any way possible with any and every question I might have regarding my coverage. The real test came, however, when I was in an accident about 2 years ago; I did not know the meaning of "quick response" until I called my agent to inform her about it.
My little Nissan Sentra was at a complete stop when its trunk was bashed in by a Ford Ranger doing 30 MPH. Upon hearing this, my agent immediately arranged for my daughter and me to be attended at a nearby hospital; I ended up missing some time from work due to injuries I had sustained as a result of the accident, and within less than a week after the accident, I had already received my first check reimbursing me for the first day that I was out (the day of the accident itself). My agent then coordinated all efforts with the insurance company of the person who crashed into my car; all I really needed to do was work on healing, and let my agent (and the agent from the other insurance company) assess the damages. My agent took care of all the details, and made sure everything was done around MY schedule, thus reminding me why I've been with State Farm all this time, and why I won't go anywhere else for my car insurance. Agents like mine are the reason why State Farm lives up to its slogan, "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there".
