I, like most people, would love to be able to try everything before buying it, but that just isn't possible, however, startsampling.com is doing its part to help out some. It is a free site that offers various samples from many different companies. All you do is register. I don't get e-mails from them very often at all, which is a plus, because I don't like being hounded.

About the site:
You get points for visiting, for requesting samples, for giving feedback on samples, and other things, which you can turn around and redeem for prizes. I have racked up tons of these frequent tryer points, but everytime I try to redeem them, everything is already out of stock. They don't have the greatest of gifts, but it is nice to reward people for using your site, but, it is hard to get them. One of my favorite parts of the site is the helpful hints section. It changes every week day and just has hints for around the house, etc. There are also recipes on there. There is also a place to help a fellow startsampler that has a question, but I have found that I have been helped here as well, even though I didn't submit a question, because I read through the answers. The site also has a forum.I have received numerous free trial magazine subscriptions through this site, some of them being a year long subscription, and you don't have to give a credit card or anything, the magazine company just sends a bill for you to continue if you want to, and if you don't want to, then you do nothing, just throw the bill away. I have actually subscribed to a couple of magazines because of this, lol!

What I don't like:
Here are a few of the cons about the site, but nothing major. The samples don't change very often, so that can be boring if you check it often. Also, they only get a certain number of each sample, and some go fast, so if you don't check often, you miss out.  And, like I said above, they don't offer very good rewards for the points you earn, and when you do try to redeem your points, everything is already gone. Other than those things, I really enjoy this site and recommend it to anyone who likes to try things before buying, or is just into samples.

I love samples. At this point I'm on so many lists but I don't get anything - just the freebies. Nice job. Jo
