Starbucks - VIA Ready Brew Instant Coffee —

Just dropped some speed, I mean Starbucks VIA, into my coffee mug and mixed it up in an instant. I tried the Italian Roast blend. It's dark and bold as it should be. Suprisingly tasty and flavorful but of course my expectations were pretty low. I can be a coffee snob. Cafe con leche's in Spain and cappuccino in Italy can drive a person to become a coffee bean connoisseur. See how snotty I sound?! Instant coffee usually doesn't float my boat but VIA is not so bad! It's actually pretty far above average compared to other instant coffee. Also, I should be honest... I sort of hate Starbucks. I am more of a the Intelligentsia, Caribou Coffee or Peet's type. It bugs me that there is a Starbucks on every corner. I need options. So, you understand my amazement when I actually liked VIA. I didn't really want to like it. I guess "never say never" rings true here... I do recommend a Starbucks product.

I don't know how I missed this review, Meredith! I really enjoyed it, you have such a great sense of humor!

I have actually never had instant coffee before. I can't imagine it tasting good at all. I think the only time I might drink it in the future is if I go camping or something like that :) In that case, I guess I better pick this up. I agree with you; it's annoying to see Starbucks on every corner. I don't like their drip coffee, so if I go there, it is for a latte.

I seldom drink coffee and the only place I heard of in your review is Starbucks. I keep instant on hand to help with migraines. Maybe I'll check this one out. Thanks, Meredith.

an instant that tastses good!We'll have to try that. My mom only drinks decaf to which I say why bother? So I could bring these with me for when I visit her.
