Have you heard about the Starbucks Gold Card?

I've used mine for more than a year, and since I'm an every day Starbucks coffee drinker, it has more than paid for itself.

At $25 for one year, the Starbucks Gold Card offers terrific 'perks'! It automatically deducts 10% from in-store purchases. This literally means that for every 10 coffee drinks, I get one free!

The discount applies to more than just beverages. Today I bought a pound of my favorite beans (which the barista grinds for free, to my specifications), got a 10% discount on the beans AND a free tall brewed coffee. I can't get that kind of deal on the coffee I prefer at my local grocery store!

The 10% discount comes in especially handy when purchasing gifts for friends and family during the holidays and birthdays, since I know so many coffee drinkers.

Besides the discount, several times during the year Starbucks has sent coupons to try new drinks like the smoothie: 1 free, two 50% off coupons. I also received !0% off coupons to share with friends and family.

By the way, if you link your Starbucks Gold Card to your regular credit card, it will automatically refill, and you earn your regular credit card 'points' as well.
