Starbucks - Seattle, WA Review

     I was born and raised in Minnesota, and up until the last 5 years we did not have a lot of Starbucks in the area.  We have Caribou Coffee, which I was absolutely addicted to.  Well, about a year ago, my husband and I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for his job.  They did not have Caribou Coffee out there, so I had no choice but to start drinking Starbucks.  At first, I was not happy about it, but what can you do?

     It didn't take very long until I was addicted.  I am not a big fan of hot coffee beverages, and I usually get Mocha Frappachinos.  They are so good, but they are so hard to explain what they taste like.  I just really like the creamy chocolate taste to it!  We have since moved back to Minnesota and Starbucks is really coming into the area, which makes me so happy!

     The atmosphere at Starbucks is like no other.  I always thought that Starbucks was the uppity snobby coffee shop, but it is nothing like that.  The staff is always friendly, and since I am in so often they know me by name and my drink.  I switched from regular to decaf because I was drinking so much caffeine, and one college seasonal worker saw me and even noticed I switched.  She hadn't saw me in over two months and still remembered what I drink.

     I absolutely love the personal service.  It makes you feel special, which is not something you can expect anymore out of any retail shop.  A couple of cons about Starbucks:  The cost of the coffee, and the high addiction.

     First of all, with any coffee shop, expect to pay a pretty penny.  All coffee shops are going to be expensive, and if you are not willing to pay the price, your next best bet would be to go to the gas station.  You are paying for the service, which you will receive at Starbucks.

     Second of all, the addiction is crazy.  Whenever I am having a bad day, it's sad to say but I will go to Starbucks to cheer me up.  They are so nice, sometimes I like them more than my family.

     I highly recommend that if you have not gave Starbucks a try, you should.  Even if you are not a big coffee drinker, they have several other options such as cider and hot chocolate for the non-coffee drinker.
