Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Coffee Review

I am partial to having my coffee straight and my lattes sugar & syrup free, but occasionally I will indulge in a flavored brew after dinner if the local patisserie is closed. I've had the sweet treats from other coffee shops in the neighborhood and tonight I thought I'd give Starbucks a shot. After taking my first sip of the Pumpkin Spice Latte I am wishing I had kept walking past and continued to 7/11 for their fall classic. I honestly thought I had pissed off the barista and he had actually vomited in my cup; it tasted exactly like puke. I had even commented on how wonderful it smelled as he passed it across the bar. I was excited to try a pumpkin latte that actually smelled like real fresh baked pumpkin. I'm disappointed, but not too surprised. After all this is the chain that is proud to say their coffee tastes exactly like instant coffee.
