I was a little wary of paying the kind of steep price for this Starbucks solo coffee maker, not because I have something against the brand but because sometimes branded stuff such as this can sometimes be a little iffy. But I needed a new coffee maker and this fit the bill better than anything else I saw- so I went ahead and bought it. It took a little while to get used to it, but once I did I was in love with it. Not only is it pretty to look at, but it functions really well. Not only that but it is remarkably sturdy and super easy to clean, all three of which are really important aspects to me. I also love that I can start it and go take a shower and then pretty much as soon as I'm done taking a shower my coffee is done. Overall it was a great decision and purchase. It looks good and fits well in my kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone.

I received one of the Aroma Solo Home Brewers as a gift; I appreciated it and was anxious to try it out. I drink a lot of coffee but hate having to reheat it because it ruins the taste of it. The insulated travel mugs that I have are nice and they will keep coffee or tea hot if you temper them with hot water before you fill them but I never found one that I absolutely love. It is a nice looking single-serve coffee maker that brews in about three minutes. You can only use the tumbler that comes packaged with it; if you try to use something else then it won't press down on the dispenser button and you will end up with water coming out of the top sides of the basket. I learned that the hard way when I tried to use a similar tumbler while I was washing the one that came with the brewer. This is one of many products that Starbucks no loner makes so if you need to replace the filter basket, tumbler or anything else you are going to have to get them online. Because Starbucks had so many different home brewers over the years, you need to make sure that you are going to be getting the correct parts for the correct brewer. It took me a couple of tries to get the coffee measurement right; I usually use three tablespoons for a large mug of coffee (20 ounce) so I had to play around with the amount of coffee I used to brew the perfect cup. It is a simple machine to use and you can program it to brew at a certain time if you want. I always unplug my coffee maker when I am done with it so I don't have to sit in my vehicle and try to remember if I shut it off or not. Having a clock on it is nice but I never use it because it gets unplugged after each use. The stainless steel front of it looks nice but if you have it near your stove and cook often it will show grease marks and splashes. I still have this but rarely use it because of the amount of cleaning that it requires when I leave it on the counter. If the body of it were easier to clean and keep clean chances are I would use it more often.

We purchased our Starbucks Barista Aroma solo home brewer about 3 years ago and it is still brewing like it was brand new! It makes great coffee right in your travel mug, perfect if you are heading out the door to work or just going shopping! It also comes with the removable/washable coffee filter so you don't have to keep purchasing the paper filters and waste your money! My husband uses his coffee maker at least once a day. The only down side is now it's hard to find extra coffee mugs that fit this coffee machine. you need the special travel mugs to make the coffee. (a special lid). It is very easy to use and make coffee, when we have friends and family over we usually make a couple of batches of coffee for them in our Aroma solo coffee maker. They can even brew the coffee themselves, it's that easy to use! I think this is a great invention Starbucks made and we will continue to use ours forever! I would recommend this to everyone!

**this was given to me as a gift my reason for writing this review is that i would never had bought it for my self.that being said i am so thankful that my father seemed to know it was some thing i needed even if i didnt.this coffee maker brews on 16 .oz  stanless cup at a time the typ that you can take with you in the car its thermo and realy keeps your coffee warm for hours.i just want evry one to know its a great coffee maker i have never been so pleased with a coffee maker as i am with my barista aroma solo.it also has a clock that can be set so coffee is ready to drink when i wake up.the clock and the buttons light up in bright blue that is great can see the time with out turning on lights.** **                    i just want evry one to know how pleased i am with this product.  **
