Living in Washington, we have more than our share of Starbucks! When my kids were small, they would have the steamed cider or hot cocoa. As they got older, it moved to some of the fun kid's drinks - complete with odd colors, flavors and sprinkles. Now my three oldest know the menu by heart and… read full review »

The conversation always goes something like this, "...let's meet at the Starbucks off so and so around 9:00".  You meet, have coffee, or tea, or saddle up to their wi-fi, pay the price, and go merrily upon your way.  The convenience is almost part of the lifestyle at this point. … read full review »

To the Point — I wish I kept track of the number of Starbucks we have been to since we left Massachusetts. The number might have made it into the Guinness Book of World Records. Needless to say it is my favorite place to get coffee. We go out of our way to find one. — A Closer Look — — Starbucks stores come in many varieties. Some are drive through; some do not have that convenient amenity. Some have generous parking lots; some have none. Some have many tables; some just a couple with a counter. Some have overstuffed chairs and sofas; some have tall wood… read full review »

They're Everywhere, and Predictably Good — I normally like to support independent businesses and will when I can.  But since I'm in Miami right now, online and writing this review from one of America's convenient Starbucks locations, I thought it was appropriate to send them a shout out.   — Starbucks sells every coffee combination imaginable - hot and cold, with all the java-related nouns and adjectives in the universe attached.   There's another language going on in this place, and with enough money in the pocket, anyone can speak it.  It's not an… read full review »

If you love coffee and can't live without an energizing boost in the morning, starbucks is the answer.  I was never big on coffee until I tasted the Starbucks frappachino, and I fell in love.  I love that they have light versions that are still healthy and tasty, and their coffees are a great pick me up anytime of day.  The service is usually fast and there is so much variety, you could have a new beverage everyday.  This is not only great for coffee, but the ambiance is a great place to relax, meet friends, or savor one of their tasty desserts.  This is a great place… read full review »

I think I speak for at least a third of the US population when I say that caffeine makes me happy. I drive considerably far to get to work every morning (I literally live on the west side of Oahu and work on the very east side of the island). Sure, I live on an island so people often think the drive can't be all that bad. The odometer says I drove 28 miles, but it took me an hour to get from point A to point B. That's bad. And anyone driving on Oahu during rush hour knows this. — Starbucks is the light at the end of the tunnel. It is not something that I would recommend doing on a… read full review »

Now I'm not trying to be anti-corporation or anything but I genuinely hate Starbucks coffee. It gives me gut rot. With the exception of Verona, all the drip coffees taste burnt and since I'm not a fan of espresso I pretty much steer clear of this… read full review »

Being an Atkins dieter I can drink decaf, with heavy cream and sugar free flavoring. So the natural place to go is Starbucks. I live in a relatively Starbucks free part of the country. Only 2 free standing stores and 2 in grocery stores within a 50 mile area. Luckily for me one is across the street from where I work. — What I love is that it seems as though the barristas take time to remember you and your drink. When they see me coming in, they are already reaching for the heavy cream. Its great I just have to tell them what flavor I want that day and I am set. — I also like… read full review »

I was born and raised in Minnesota, and up until the last 5 years we did not have a lot of Starbucks in the area.  We have Caribou Coffee, which I was absolutely addicted to.  Well, about a year ago, my husband and I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for his job.  They did not have Caribou Coffee out there, so I had no choice but to start drinking Starbucks.  At first, I was not happy about it, but what can you do? —      It didn't take very long until I was addicted.  I am not a big fan of hot coffee beverages, and I… read full review »

No matter where I travel for work or pleasure, I can always stop in a local Starbucks and immediately feel at home. The personal, upbeat service, consistently exceptional drinks, and lush feel of the shop envelop me in comfort. Starbucks has done an outstanding job with expansion management, ensuring that stores are readily available, offer a variety of perks or services, and that the product remains reliable no matter the location. With that in mind, each store maintains an individual persona specialized to the local region. This ensures that the environment is not drab, but reflects the… read full review »

Everyone talks about how great Starbucks is...however, I find the lines ridiculously long, the prices outrageously high, and the coffee, not that great.  I've tried quite a few stores, hoping that each will be better than the last.  But the kids that work the machines don't have a clue what good coffee tastes like.  Its always WAY too strong, and I can get the same drink at the same place at different times, and it will taste completely different.  Besides it is not very "user friendly" A mother with 2-3 kids certaintly doesn't want to take her kids out of the car, wait in… read full review »

I visit Starbucks regularly to have my favorite coffee and handle some business. It is a favorite spot for me and my business collegues. Great coffee, food and service!! — The employees are wonderful. They are courteous and helpful. I enjoy talking with them and getting the samples of different coffees and snacks. — The internet connection is always good. I can get a lot of work done in a great atmosphere. It is a great place to meet with business collegues and handle some business. —… read full review »

We went to the local Starbucks the other day. We were shocked to find out that they had raised their prices. I love a good cup of coffee but at their new prices are gouging. We paid almost $20 for four drinks. For the price they get we could have bought 3 bags of Starbucks bean at the store and still have money left for whipped cream and sprinkles. I have found that Sonic now offers a carmel mocha java chiller that is to die for and much more budget friendly. More kid friendly drinks as… read full review »

I love Starbucks! Almost all of them have great service and are willing to help by giving new ideas etc. When I found out I was allergic to milk, but I love the frappachinoos I had one starbucks offer to blend me ANYTHING I wanted with soy. — Most starbucks are not sit and chat places, though. usally to busy, crouded or noisy, but the great thing about most Starbucks is they are close to where you are going or on the way. I love that they are everywhere. —… read full review »

I love that Starbucks has really great coffee that comes in a variety of flavors, sizes and even low calorie substitutes.  When I'm on the run I could always stop by for a quick minute to pick up something to wake me up or even some of their delicious sweet treats.  Overall, I think they could be a bit overpriced at times but its worth every penny if you just gotta have it!… read full review »
