Most Star Wars toys are expensive... my son has adored the brand for so long now and I've come to learn this firsthand. When I saw this set, it was the price that I liked the most. It was very affordable, especially for a kit with the Destroyer in it! I gave nearly twice the price for a Destroyer Lego set that my son lost pieces too.
But anyway, this awesome set comes with the Destroyer, as well as energy blast balls that really fire. The remote control moves forward and backwards and it is easy to use. There are 9 star wars action figures included with the set.
It is a toy that my son plays with a lot and always has a good time. I highly recommend this toy for any fan of Star Wars! It is awesome.

This toy line is great for anyone who is into Star Wars! The figures look exactly like the vintage army men from the eightys! The characters and vehicles come from the six movies in the Star Wars saga and the Star Wars rebels animated series. I loved to role play the battles from the Star Wars movies. I recommend this toy to any Star Wars fan who appreciates the battles from these fantastic movies! It would be better if they added characters and vehicles from episode one. I would like to see a pod racer done in this style. I love the novelty of collecting these small toys! My favorite sets are from the original trilogy! Hasbro has gone to infinity and beyond by creating this toy line!

The Star Wars Command Star Destroyer Set Provides Fun

My 9 year old son has recently become interested in Star Wars, so we decided to buy him the Star Wars Command Star Destroyer Set. He has really enjoyed playing with this toy and we are very happy that he has liked it so much.
My son's favorite things about this set are the fact that it features characters and a ship he is familiar with. He also likes that he can create his own games to play with it.
The things that I like about this are that it is realitively sturdy, a real plus with my son who tends to be rough on his toys (even the ones he really likes). I also like that this toy provides creative play time as I really don't like computer games and kids watching television all of the time (even though this is based on movies/TV).
I would highly recommend this toy for all the Star Wars fans in your family.

Fun Star Wars Toy With Lots to Play With

My five year old son received this for a birthday gift. He isn't completely aware of who all the characters are or are supposed to be, but from my youth, I certainly remember them and they are all here! This set contains the infamous Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Han Solo and other characters such as Storm Troopers, Rebel Soldiers, Drivers, Pilots, etc. There are also movable space ships, such as the Millennium Falcon which races forward with pull back action. The other 'vehicles' are made to stand alone or on a base with wheels, which can be rolled forward or back. We have found these vehicles to be a little top heavy, so when the table was bummed, they all fell over. The action figures are great, having all the recognizable ones as noted above. They are heavier plastic, and have a nice sturdy base. My son had originally passed this toy over in the store because of the action figures not catching his attention, being mostly just one solid color, with no detail like you would see in a stand alone taller action figure toy. But now that he received this set as a gift, he doesn't mind that so much! He's played with it for a half hour when he first received it, and for a five year old, that's pretty good! He's an only child, so it has a lot to keep him busy by himself. I gave it four stars because it is heavy, solid and seems to be good construction and my son is really enjoying it! The few 'cons' are the only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars.

I wasn't too sure about getting this for my son see he is 10 but he really really LOVES everything Star Wars, so I got it and i have not regretted it at all. He plays with it more than any of his other toys and has had it a while and he will usually get tired of something pretty quickly. He loves everything about it and spends a lot of time making up all kinds of stories with it.
