Star Trek the Next Generation is one of Gene Rodenberry's ideas come to the small screen.  Even years after the series has aired, it's themes and charaters are still relevant and entertaining.  Captain Picard is one of the best Trek captains ever, especially in his relationships with Dr, Crusher, Data, Number One, and Guynan.  There are very few television series' I can watch over and over, and TNG makes the short list.  I recommend watching the entire searies, starting from the beginning.  If you love fiction and drama, you will enjoy this series.  I highly suggest it to anyone.
