Thanks to the recent closing of a couple of Office Depot stores near me, Staples is the only large office supply store nearby. The store near me has a nice selection of office supply items, at less than full retail price. However, their prices are not competitive.

I have found that Office Depot's prices are a little less that Staples on the iterms I use - pencils, pens, storage, paper. Plus, Office Depot usually has online coupons available for purchases of $50 or more and Staples does not.

Where Staples really shines, though, is their rewards plan and specifically their rewards for recycled cartridges....

Staples employees, in the Spokane Valley, Washington store have gone above and beyond in customer service.  I was searching for a laptop for my son and stopped in to see what was available.  After looking at several different models, I found the perfect laptop and was well informed of the additional warranty that was available.  Because my son has seizures, I wanted to make sure that the laptop would be covered for accidental damage should he have a seizure and drop the laptop.  I was assured that the coverage was for accidental damage which is just what I needed and they even checked to see...

Staples provides great customer service. The lines are never long. Whenver there are more than two people waiting, 90% of the time a manager will open a register or call someone over the loud speaker to open a register. The aisles are easy to navigate and the aisle ender signs are accurate and easy to read. Teh furniture is sturdy and can blend in with almost all accessories. The office supplies are always stocked; even the sales items are always stocked! I can always count on customer service helping on the floor. Staples makes my life so much easier with the home delivery.  Place an order today have it the next business day 9 times out of 10.  delivery drivers are polite and will always bring in the heavy stuff.  No other store delivery compares.

I'm a busy person, so I don't have a lot of time searching websites for exactly what I want.  That's why I LOVE Staples.com.  It is the easiest site to use.  They even save the things I order the most so that all I have to do is 'check mark' it, to reorder it.   They don't inundate you with a lot of offers you aren't interested it.    And the Customer Service is OUTSTANDING.  They really do ship in ONE DAY on most things, as well.
