ours blew up big band then a flash of light singed my husband arm hairs and rolled me back onto the floor with the smoke over me and the smell is here now for a week and my eyes are still dry..spoke to company passed from person to person now the company that made the mailmate is going to call me,.was asked to say nothing and to keep the shredder and someone will call to have it picked up,, I think they are trying to cover up all the crap that has happen to this product,. i wounder if anyone has had this happen.,.,
