i really love my Kitdchen Aid Mixer. I have owned one for 3 years now. I use it for mixing cake and cookie batters from scratch mainly. There are so many other uses for this mixer however. I have three different beaters that came with my mixer and the book of recipes explains which beater to use with what you are making. I have made frosting and roll dough with this mixer too. it is very easy to use. The mixer also has a shield that you can put on the top of the bowl will you are mixing. It has a chute to pour ingredients in as it mixes. This does help cut down on messes. I don't have any other...

My family loves to bake. From the first time we saw this machine; we knew we had to have one. At first, I couldn't even justify the price to myself, let alone my husband (by the way, he still doesn't know the REAL price :) After using it over the past three years; I know it was worth every penny. We make breads, cakes, cookies, potatoes and much much more.

Never thought I wanted one, but now that I have it, can't imagine being without it. So nice just to add ingredients and know that it will just keep on mixing. Makes double and triple batches a breeze.

The Kitchen Aid stand mixer has really been a help. It saves me time when I'm cooking, because I can start it and let it go without having to continully watch it. It is also very strudy and well built. It has ten speeds that make it very useful in different areas, whether I am making a cake or mixing up batter for pancakes.

KitchenAid Artisan 10 Speed Stand Mixer
What can I say about this product other than it is amazing! I do not know how I got by in the kitchen before this mixer. My husband's grandmother gave us this mixer. It was her's from twenty years ago when she used to do wedding cakes out of her home and it still works like it is brand new. We do not have any of the fancy attachments yet so I can not comment on those, but just as a mixer from baking cakes, muffins or cookies to making mashed potatos my food has never come out as well blended before this. Valentine's Day two years ago, my husband asks me if I can help him carry a few things inside. I was in a bad mood, had been working on a fancy romantic dinner and figured he forgot. I have been very pleased with the kitchen aid mixer. it is a real work horse!! The only problem I have had with it is the pin that hold the top part to the stand is constantly working itself loose so I have to keep pounding it back in. I have gone through several beaters as they tend to scrape against the side of the bowl when that bolt comes loose.
Sunbeam Heratige Series
This is the second Sunbeam Mixer I have owned. The first one broke in a move. I love the feature that the bowls will "lock" onto the tray and turn with the beaters when it is mixing. I also love the bowl select feature. You can move the tray for either a large or small bowl. The whisk beaters and dough hooks are also a great feature to have with this mixer.
