Getting exercise isn't the easiest thing for someone that's addicted to watching television, but when there is a product that can not only burn the calories but afford the opportunity to watch TV at the same time if is highly coveted.  With the Stamina Recumbent Exercise Bike you get the best of both worlds, because it is an interactive exercise device that works quietly enough to let you watch your favorite television program while you are using it.  It works so well because the television gets used as a distraction, and makes it seem like the exercising is just flying by.  Also, but being a recumbent bike, it takes the pressure off your knees, so you are exercising without putting any extra wear and tear on your body.

The Stamina Programmable Magnetic 4825 Exercise Bike

This Stamina Exercise Bike isn't very difficult to put together right out of the manufacturers box, and it just takes a few minutes, as well as a little patience, to get it up and running.  There aren't that many pieces to it, and if you follow the directions, the whole thing comes together quite quickly.  I would say that at a maximum it takes about 20 minutes from the start of the box opening to having the bike up and running for exercising.  After that, it is also easy to dismantle the machine if you need to move it around or if you end up wanting to move it to a different room.  The base that holds it together can be disconnected to create two pieces that can be carried around.  Moving the entire bike is a little cumbersome though, because it isn't light to just lift.

Using the Stamina Recumbent Exercise Bike

Once the bike is ready to go, you can jump right into a program or just do some exercising on the bike.  The digital display that you are given allows you to work on different modes that include a fat burning mode as well as an aerobic workout, and it keeps track of all your statistics as you are exercising.  It's easy to use the display to keep track of your progress, and if its too easy, you can adjust the tension control to make it almost mimic biking up-hill.  Those are the tougher modes to work with if you are really looking for a challenge, or you can just use it on the easiest setting (mimics a flat road) to allow yourself to get a little exercise during the day.  The recumbent feel of the bike makes it easier to get a longer work-out on the machine, and the comfort of the chair and back support make it more likely that you will want to use it repeatedly in the future.

ViewPoint of the Stamina 4825 Recumbent Exercise Bike

I have found that this is a very good recumbent bike, and that it gives me anything I would want out of a stationary exercise bike.  It is nice and compact, so it doesn't take up a lot of space off to the side of the living room, and it can be adjusted so that people of different heights can be comfortable with the pedal placement.  The bike is extremely easy to set up right out of the box, and even a beginning bike rider could get used to using this machine very quickly.  I have only positive things to say about this Stamina exercise bike, and I think it is one that would work well not only for those looking for a light workout, but those athletes looking to press themselves.  This one was selling at Target for around $300.00 and is one that I would give a very good recommendation.

You just need a laptop stand on top now and you can really multi-task! LOL!

Wow! This exercise bike sounds amazingly good, The last time I saw and used one of those things, I was in college and it wasn't so fancy; it was essentially a standard bike-like thing with a few doodads and no wheels, but it even had a conventional pedal-and-chain set up which wasn't terribly hi-tech. This one...wow...it's like comparing a Wright Flyer of the 1900s with a Stealth fighter. Nice review!
