St. Simon's Island —

St. Simon's is beautiful, romantic, photogenic and sweet
Want a wonderful weekend getaway?  Head for coastal Georgia and the Golden Isles.   My favorite is St. Simon's.  Filled with oaks and ringed by a beautiful beach, this photogenic island gives off a cozy vibe.  You just wanna park the car and poke around in antique shops, stroll through its beautiful parks and along the waterfront, stop for an ice cream . . .

St. Simon's is rather upscale but still has affordable elements, like the local Dairy Queen.  Anglers will enjoy the fishing pier, which has a covered section to block the heat.   A lighthouse affords a great view of the bay.

There's a variety of lodging on the island:  you can choose from B&Bs, hotels, condos or vacation cottages.  No matter where you choose to stay, you'll fall under the spell of St. Simons.  It's a beautiful island.

The Bottom Line:  Libby Loves It!
