informational movie on its creation, other historical info on site, beautiful to look at, more than just the arch itself, gift shops

Small Tram Cars, Not for those scared of height!

It is really something to see the Arch up close and personal (though you can see it from miles away, too!)! I was glad I went up in it, but it was harrowing. The cars are small and it's a noisy, bumpy ride. I thought I'd be ok, even though I don't like heights, because it's enclosed. Not so. That was the closest I've come to a panic attack -- I think all that stopped me from having one was that I knew no matter what happened, I still had to get into that little car and go back down! But even for the faint of heart in terms of heights, it's a cool site to see.
